Baby Girl

The slowness of the internet connection at home lately has not been motivating me to update my blog with pictures.. (excuses, excuses...but seriously!).

To break the more-than-2-weeks hiatus, here are different cake for 2 different baby girl, on a 2 different weekends.....did this few weeks back.

This is for my cousin's first-born...Cake is butter walnut...yes, I know, you have seen the flowers before..hehehehe

This one was made for Doris' baby. Choc moist cake with choc ganache. Did the gumpaste baby shoes for the 1st time...kind of senget a bit. But still, looks cute ...at least from far..:-)
Congrats mommies!

Baby Eva Marie Young

I love decorating cakes for babies. Eva's parents requested something simple in pink and purple. For baby girl, there are lots of 'decorations' you could actually do..booties, baby blanky, pink teddy bears, flowers and the list goes on.

For Eva, a first born to George and Jofanna, we finally settled for pink and purple daisies for the cutting cake and small white flowers for the cupcakes, on top of the pink and purple swirl.

Follows are pictures, courtesy of George, who happens to be a professional photographer.

Enjoy the pictures!

cutting cake is butter walnut cake

Cupcakes are lemon and pandan flavoured, and vanilla with choc cheese filling.

Love this shot!

Thanks a lot George and Jo...thanks for the nice shots too!

Something fishy!

Love fishing, nature, watching his diet and he is turning 60! Those were they 'key' notes for this order...I hope I fulfilled them, Tina.

This is the first time I did something like this..therefore, still plenty of room for improvement...suggestions anyone? :-))

50th Birthday

What do you give to your boss for her 50th b'day??? Well, anything as long as 'they' are sexy, made them feel sexy and most importantly, edible at the same time...

To my regular 'visitors', these are nothing new....except for the italics alphabets..yeah, Ursula get to be the first person to 'use' it!

Thanks Nora

Disney Princess

Luckily I have some edible images when this order was made by Nurul. Thanks Nurul..glad to hear the kids loved them, cuppies!

Jarel's B'day

It has been exactly 14days since I last posted anything here...I would give you the normal excuses of : too little time and not enough hands, to update my blog..here's one set of cupcakes I did more than a week ago for Joaane's boy, Jarel.

Lady bird and teddy bear were made of royal icings and fondant cut-outs for the see/hear/speak no evil.
Thanks Joanne and many more b'days for Jarel
